AWAY explores what it is to have a deep commitment and profound passion for a sport, delving into the inherent joys and challenges of surfing, itself, and also of surfing in NYC. The film features three women who each bring a unique perspective to preconceived notions of the female surfing community, creating a compelling story that reveals their indomitable spirit and provides insight into the transformative impact of surfing on their lives.

Social hour begins at 6 pm with food and drinks for purchase served until 7. The presentation and Q&A are from 7-8pm.
